API 11AX, 13th Ed. Errata 1 May 2023

In reference to Section 1, Scope update. I see the entire third paragraph concerning specific Design packages has been omitted. So, does our engineer have to create a package for each and every part we make, all sizes and flavors? Or, do we maintain our packages already created on the 11AX parts as listed, before Errata1? 5.2.2 uses the phrase "as applicable", so is the technical documentation listed to be included at our engineer's discretion? Any input is appreciated, thanks, Jay.

Dear Jayy, do you have already check the latest API Advisory 6 ? there was no information about design & development exclusion for API Spec 11AX. at this moment, i also in progress of creating design package for API 11B product, Stuffing Box unit, this is due to this product is an exclusion in Advisory 6, therefore we need to have the design package to validate our manufacturing process.

IMO, you should check API Advisory 6, compare it with your API Spec manual, if you still have any question about the monogram process, please dont hesitate to directly email API, especially about monogram process.
