Trying to better understand the nuances of RTY.
My company builds large, commercial HVAC units. On our manufacturing line we currently conduct:
- in-process QA audits (12% sample)
- 100% functional testing on completed units
- end-of-line visual QA audits (12% sample) on completed units
I have good data collection in place for all three categories and report them out as separate first-pass yield numbers.
My question is whether it would be reasonable to also merge these into a single RPY, or would that be a skewed meteic since some data is sampled and some is 100% inspection?
Thanks in advance.
