Next Calibration Due Date

I have a pressure gauge initially calibrated on 20.05.2019, next calibration should be 6 months with +/-15 days i.e 20.11.2019 +/-30days.
So I calibrate it on 02.12.2019. What should be next due date? Is it 02.06.2020 or should i consider initial date as 20.05.2020.

Because the auditor pointed that the gauge is calibrated after 20.05.2019 but still within +/-15 days, if often it is calibrated after the date, the calibration will be shifted to next month every time.

Please advise

What in the world is the purpose behind your due date ±15 days policy?
I see nothing here but confusion (like your questions here) and possible audit problems.
For instance, what happens if you calibrate it 25 days before the due date - is that a nonconformance issue?

Lots of spot on advice up there.
FWIW, we only had the "plus time" for scheduling purposes...saw no need to have a minus time.

Overarching cal doc referred to a 15 day "grace period" for scheduling, and the cal interval would have just been "6 months".

(and our pressure gages were 1yr...and never had a fail). I was unwilling to extend it further due to the risk, but was justified in doing so based on cal data alone.

Do you have your own calibration procedure? If not, than follow the original equipment manufacture recommendation for calibrating pressure gauge.
