New AQL question

Working in a new company now, and dealing with some of the customer requirements that have filtered their way down to my level. I haven't dealt with AQL requirements in a loooooooooooong time, so could use some input/advice.

The customer document requires that a certain feature must pass to AQL 0.65 Sampling Plan, Inspection Level 2.

I know that the 0.65 defines the maximum number of defects in the sampled lot, and that Inspection Level 2 defines the sample size.

BUT this feature is 100% inspected........how does that affect the Inspection Level 2 requirement? Am I missing something really basic here?

So, your internal specification is to inspect 100%, and the customer specification is AQL 0.65? If so, you are meeting and exceeding the customer requirement because the lot would pass a 0.65 AQL inspection.

I guess these would be the issues:
- You are charging them for 100% inspection and they don't want to pay for it.
- They want to keep the non-passing units in the lot that would be allowed when following the AQL inspection.

Is there other information that you are not including?

Just received some 'new' information (project manager hoarding secrets like a squirrel preparing for winter).

The testing will NOT be 100% - this will be an offline test. But my question as to lot size and the sampling plan still holds. I will try and get some additional information to try and make this a little bit clearer.
