Management Review "monitor and measurement

Question, related to the AS9100 9.3.2 management review Inputs, what exactly are they looking for in "Monitoring and Measurement Results? Is this specific to calibration of gages?
Examples: Reporting out on calibrations completed on time?
Gages found out of tolerance?
Recalls from failed gages?

What do you monitor and measure in your company? Look at 7.1.5 and 9.1.1. Do you measure something to verify the conformity of products and services to requirements? I don't report on every single measurement we make, but I report on significant issues, trends, etc.

These two clauses are referring to completely different aspects of the QMS, 7.1.5 is referring to basically gages, I am confused why top management would want to know about gages? Our management is in the bigger high level picture like KPI which would show of there was a measurement resource issue. I definitely understand the clause 9.1.1 section but does this section of Management review really require information on our gages too? If so what kind of information do you report?
