'Quality Month' - Why is November chosen in many countries? Any significance?

Can somebody tell me whether there is some special significance in November being chosen as the "Quality Month" in many countries including Japan, India, South Africa?

Quality Month? I don't have a clue, but someone here in the Cove probably will. Personally I'd also be interested in learning what the remaining months are called?

Duirng the early visit of Juran and Deming, the Japanese were working hard on the revolution of quality. It was the Japanese who choose the November as a Quality Month for their annual QCC presentation.

Since then, it is a tradition way to promote Quality Month in November as everybody alos knew that it is coming to the end of the year and we need some "booster" to keep us alive with quality activities.

That what I thought it....
