Process Owner

Can there be two process owners for one process ? e.g. Document Controller or Purchase process. Can there be two process owner ? or there has to be only single process owner & others can be called as process manager or co process owner or deputy ?

There can be as many process owners as you want, so long as you have a method for settling disagreements.
