I have prepared a slide to show the various data types and the allowed mathematical operations on each of them for a training session. can you pls. review the slide and tell me if the info. is correct?
I would also add that you can determine differences between variables for all of the data types listed.
The techniques are different of course. For example, you can’t use t-tests or ANOVA if you can’t multiply/divide…
Thanks, and yes by Discrete I mean 'count data' only. I have also attached three more slides which i plan to show before i show 'mathematical operations slides'. Theses slides will describes the various data type with examples.

thanks for your reply but i am not sure if i understood correctly because i thought we could not determine the differences if the data type is Nominal, ordinal or binary. Can you enlighten me on this?
