Certificate Transfer

Ok it's time to transfer our ISO 9001 Certificate. On our third surveillance we had a bad auditor experience, followed by a nonsense appeal response, all punctuated by filing a formal complaint which has not been answered after 60 days. We had five non-conformances (3 BS) which have all been closed out. The next audit will be a re-certification and the start of a new 3 year cycle -- so seems like a good time for a CB change. So, once we find our new CB, what is involved in the transfer? Thanks in advance.

Did one last week, I've got 2 more next week and I've probably done another half dozen already this year. Your not having any open NC's makes it a bit easier, and it's not hard as long as they aren't "Majors".

Good luck

I am also in the process of transferring to a new certification body before my upcoming Recertification audit at the end of this year.

I have had a similar experience to Golfman25 and am fed up the the appalling quality of the auditors being sent, the nit picky Major non-conformance's being raised for non-issues and typos, and the non-added value of the whole process due to the inexperience of the auditors being sent.

I found a new (local) certification company (actually by recommendation by someone I trust), had a nice long conversation with them, they outlined a proposal and a quote (in writing), I agreed and they are making the transfer happen as I write this.
