When we are allowed to travel internationally again- where are you going?

I had an Italy trip scheduled for 5/2020 and a Bali trip scheduled for 1/2021 cancelled.

I'm thinking that I'm going to try to reschedule Bali again for October. Fingers crossed.

I live in Upstate NY and one of my favorite places to visit is Canada -- of course I moved back months before the pandemic hit, so I have not been able to head back up to Toronto. I miss you, IKEA! Haha

We postponed instead of cancelling so our upcoming vacations to: Puglia, Italy; Norfolk, UK; Rio, Brasil; and Tenerife, Spain - have backed up a bit.

I guess not traveling over the last year has not been a big deal to me. In the prior several years we probably stayed within 400 miles of home for several reasons. This year if we do travel it'll again probably be in that window, probably a trip to the beach.

Most of my enjoyment of vacation time is just not having to go to work and instead being able to sleep-in and relax for more than 2 days at a time.

When we retire or have fewer responsibilities we'll probably head west again to WY, AZ, NV, and/or UT and maybe overseas to Scotland and the UK.

Lago di Como. Five houses sharing a garden and pool. We've been there last year already, great with small children.
