Mitutoyo Calipers w/ storage boxes

Hey folks --- doesn't look like this part of the forum gets visited often. I'm going to try here regardless.....
I have quite the stockpile of Mitutoyo 500-196 calipers with the plastic storage cartons built up, along with many empty plastic storage cartons. The majority of the cartons are like new because our folks don't seem to like to use the cartons. Also because of this - over the years I've accumulated many calipers that have been dropped and are in need of some TLC/repair. Is there anyone interested in buying these? I need to get a final count but I'm guessing I have roughly 20-30 empty cartons and almost as many calipers w/ cartons.

Feel free to reach out to me if interested - [email protected]

Wow interesting but darn, I just a digital caliper a few weeks ago. I'm not doing any fine work requiring absolute calibration, just garage & shop in the ballpark stuff....For curiosity what kind of price? Go ahead and PM me

Sounds like a few trips to local machine shops and auto repair shops would be your best bet...

......or ebay....

Hey Randy -- not sure why but I get a message that says I don't have the permissions to PM when I tried to PM. Either way, I figure 5bucks for an empty carton and 20 for a carton with a set of calipers. I've been stockpiling these for quite some time so honestly I have no idea what is wrong with the ones I pulled from use anymore.

Perspective...they are only ~$120-140 brand new and A2LA calibrated on Amazon...
if it were me, I would be willing to lower pricing for "I don't know if this works, and even if it does it isn't calibrated" ones pretty far to get rid of them.
...but that's me.

...that, and that there are already 139 of them already on ebay...but perhaps some of those are yours...

Hey Randy or anyone else out there listening, we frequently use the Mitutoyo 511-441 and 511-441 blind hole bore gauges but they're getting harder to find. If you see a stockpile of those around I would definitely be interested.
