Hello everyone, I’m new :)

In fact I have been lurking for a while but this is my first post.

I have been working in Quality since 2011, both automotive and medical devices.
I have some substantial experience that I hope can help others and likewise I hope to find likeminded people and advice dealing with the never-ending challenges this job brings.

I recently took the decision to move to Product Management, only to realise once again I am wired to work in Quality and my principles are incompatible with a certain sell-at-all-costs mentality, so I’m looking forward to go back to my tribe.

Meanwhile, having plunged into a different side of the business I can certainly offer a broader perspective on some of the higher level issues Quality departments and Managers face.

Looking forward to become more active here :)

For example, in my experience, the biggest struggle with implementing effective Quality policies and procedures has always been the need for a cultural change.

Now I think that this cultural change is even more problematic than I initially thought and maybe it was naive of me to think it can be driven from top down.

I’d like to hear people’s ideas and opinion on it.
