Years ago, the question was asked “Why do you keep coming back to Elsmar Cove?”
The results were varied, interesting, and helpful to affirming the continued path of the site.

Now that Elsmar is reaching 25 years in existence, it’s a great time to check the pulse of the users once again.
Assuming you visit at least somewhat regularly, why do you come back to visit the Elsmar Cove forum?

I started to visit to learn. I continue to visit to learn. I think I know about quality but when I visit I usually learn something new. I also know what its like being in QARA and a serious project comes up and you need answers now.

I've learned a lot here, and I like to try to get people to look at things in a different way and break away from stale and largely unproductive concepts. Of course, there's always this too:

I have learned a great deal here, and I love to be able to offer whatever advice I can from the industries I've worked in. I'm still in my 30s, so I have a little more time to marinate, but I've had the fortune to be able to work with a lot of companies - both in the OEM realm and medical device.
The advice at Elsmar has been invaluable and I will continue to harass everyone here for thoughts!

why do you come back to visit the Elsmar Cove forum?
For me, intellectual stimulation; even better when not having to deal with trolls, kept away by the active moderator team.

I also deeply believe in the “people helping people” motto. It gives me fulfillment in knowing that I have helped someone in solving one of their problems. A connected world is only better if we put the connections to do positive things. The Cove is a great example of a cyber space that does good and I am proud of being an active participant here. The Cove, making a better world, one post at a time.
