I do have confusion regarding the applicability or mandatory requirement of putting the resin identification code on the product. I have read the directive 97/129/EC which specifies the list of resin identification codes. But I am confused as in the directive there is mention of packaging material & not the products.
So, can anyone provide the info that The Resin Identification Code is needed to be placed on the Packaging material only or it is required to be placed on the products as well?
We are manufacturers of Lab Devices like Lab Centrifuge. The body of our product is made of plastic. So would it be mandatory for us to put the Resin Identification code on body of the product?
