Dimensional program validations

We just purchased a Multisensor Measurment system with vision, touch probe & laser capabilities. I need to validate the programs we have created but we as a company never validated the original programs on our VMM. The plan is to perform a 2 T correlation study with the results from our original VMM programs to our new device. We ran the data through Mini-tab and the results are approx. .001-.002 off from each other. Does anyone have any experience validating dimensional program for accuracy?

The company that sold the equipment to you may have instructions on how to calibrate/validate for your needs. Hopefully, you have a local salesman who can provide access to technical experts, familiar with your industry.
