I was wondering if Halal (Ifanca) and/or Kosher (Orthodox Union) had specific guidelines for cleanout of returnable IBCs prior to use for food-grade products? Our team would like to supply the food-grade material in this manner. I would imagine that the cleanout process would be similar to what is done for cleaning tank trucks that haul food. I cannot seem to find any specific information on what the requirements are. I'm an automotive quality guy trying to handle a food-safety issue, so I am a bit out of my league. Thank you!
