Probably so. I'm enough of an editor that whenever I liberate a document in that manner I can't resist going in and cleaning up all the dross. I also like to modify the language enough that it's at least derivative, not a direct copy.

We actually did this as a matter of :ca: with customers, requesting sign-off BEFORE proceeding with any verbal changes. Some customers got a burr under their saddles, but we held fast - NO CHANGES WITHOUT SIGN-OFF - FAX OR EMAIL! Copies of those minutes AND sign-offs were included with shipments - no hangups because an incoming inspector hadn't been put into the loop. Customers can often be dysfunctional, suppliers can rarely afford to be.

Found another example of that today - the customer, at it's sole discretion and at any time, may postpone delivery for a reasonable time.

If the price of the product drops between ordering and receiving the product, the difference in price and any associated taxes will be given to the customer.

Supplier will have documented it's environmental impact and have a managed, auditable program to control same.

And here's another good one -

To the extent allowed by law, unless you are the buyer or the seller in this arrangement, you may not benefit from these terms and conditions whether or not the law allows it.

WTF ?
