Yet again - many thanks and although it's out of date now, great job done and it'll still help me. Hope someone does the same for you sometime.

Howste,

My check is in the mail to down load files....

do you think you could e-mail your attachements? I'm very new to the AS standard and could use all the help I can get.

Thank you so much!:bigwave:

Welcome to The Cove Forums! :bigwave: :bigwave:

Standards (which are copyrighted!) can be purchased and downloaded from the mentioned organization's web sites. :agree1:

Do you know of anyone that would have an ISO9001:2008 to ISO17025E matrix? I authored my QM to cover AS9100 and 17025 as I own a calibration lab, and it would be of great help in developing my cross reference table. I have just been registered to AS9100B and next year I am hoping for CLAS 17025 accreditation (Canadian equivalent of NVLAP) and this will be needed.

I am wondering if the same good person and hard worker is still on line, to tell us what is the status of his excellent work today. If he has any current gap analysis table similar updated. Warmest regards

I made one toward the end of last year, but my laptop was stolen earlier this year and I lost it...

I'd like to do an updated one sometime with revised standards, but right now I'm pretty swamped. Hopefully sometime I'll get a chance to do it again...

Howste,
First, I can't thank you enough for the posting and work you did on this comparison back in 2003. I was not looking forward to doing this comparison because I am trying to lead an effort to get us away from using redundant Quality requirement documents and move us toward certified suppliers. Your second posting of ISO versus AS, etc, in layman's terms is also spot on the mark!! Great stuff. Do you have the completed spreadsheet of the layman's term version?
Please advise.
Thanks a Million!

Hi Dave,

I never finished that one. I wouldn't mind doing it with the new version of AS9100, but unfortunately it's pretty low on the priority list right now.
