SPC Excel macro add-in - File Attached

Note: This is an old thread which has resurfaced. The Excel macro in Post #3 was originally posted in 2004. It is now 2011 and the person who uploaded it hasn't been here for a long time. There is no way I know of to get in touch with the person.

If anyone here *does* know how to use it or has any information on it, please let us know. My Thanks in advance.

hey amigo. Thank you so much for your attachment. this is very helpful for me. i'm just started using some micros for my data collections.

to open the add in go to excel option then click add in then browse for the new downloaded add in click okay .the add in ll be available in add ins tab of the
excel

There is a free SPC Control Chart Excel Add-In available for download at Journal of Statistic website.
(Pls google "spc control chart excel journal of statistics")*

However the copy seems to have bugs, a corrected copy is found at
spc-software-malaysia.com under Download > Excel Control Chart

The macro can plot both attribute and variable control charts.
However complete SPC out-of-control rules check is only available for attribute control chart. Probably someone familiar with VBA can enhance on this.

The macro is not password protected.

SPC Software Freeware ? Delphi SPC Excel Free Download

It shows up in my Add Ins menu, but seems to just make Excel freeze. From the menu, looks like you need some understanding of SPC charts/statistics to begin with just to use it. i.e. not beginner friendly.

Can anyone confirm the problem?

@CalRich - What version of Excel/Office? What OS (e.g. Windows XP, Windows 7 - I'm assuming a Windows OS, but...)?
