Roman numerals for the month?

This was a clock, I think, but still:

I, II, IIV, IV, V, ...

We have customers from Israel, thank YHWH they're using the Gregorian calender in addition to the hebrew one. Today is 29. Schewat AM 5781.

I vote for star dates.

Actually, while I don't always use it, year-month-day sorts better in computers for I usually use the format whenever the date is likely to be computer sorted.

Just write it out how you would say it in your language. Excel recognizes the March 24, 2021 date format. Other software should also.

This is the way I name files for personal use. When writing dates, I almost always use the format dd-MMM-yyyy, with MMM uses alphabetic letters. I freely admit that I typically write out the entire name of the month, but only for the six months of the year I actually like: March through August. I don't have enough respect for any of the other months to give them the same treatment.
