I imagine replacing him so soon would be setting up whoever it is as an immediate failure. This allows Boeing to save some face, put all the blame on the current CEO while they work to clean things up, and show investors a new face for 2025 as the "The year of Boeing and bright futures!" or some nonsense

This especially makes sense if they are worried about another shoe dropping soon

I get 'em a couple times a year. Coach is OK, great bin space & headroom, up front in 1A the seat is GREAT!
Flown Airbus only transatlantic before but heard good things about the dreamliner. Im a shortarse and so is the wife so legroom and headroom is never realy been an issue for either of us.

Yep. As I said - this is more than just changing senior leadership. Engineering, Operations and finance middle managers and engineers and supervisors who have lived the way senior leadership dictated and have been rewarded for it must be replaced. Maybe not all but certainly the influencers who led substandard work. This will be very hard but without it Boeing is doomed to staying on this rat cycle of failures…It wasn’t easy to kill the the engineering culture (as teh article lays out) and it wasn’t be easy to reinstate it.
