I assume you do both auto and non-auto work. Technically, your IATF cert. only applies to automotive work, so in essence the scope is limited to that. It's not uncommon in our experience to have additional time to verify non-auto work for ISO purposes.

Unfortunately, under IATF ALL automotive products are covered regardless of whether the customer requires it or not. Good luck with that.
I think that only applies to a site. Once a site is subject to audit, all auto products need to be included. It's buried in there somewhere.
