According to information found on AIAG store web page we can order IATF 16949.
Could you confirm, do they have already released it or is it in fact "pre-order"?

I'm guessing that it's released. The tiny image of the cover on the page you linked to looks like it has a date of 3 October 2016.

Received my copy today. Now I know why they made it a separate document. It is 2 times as long as the ISO standard, without the ISO language. ISO is 20 pages. This thing is over 50 pages.

I am now trying to review it's applicability to our organization. You're right, it has more shalls than the ISO.

Anybody have any insight to the new 2016 version. I know they had a big powwow in April. But the revisions seem to be some big secret.
The new Standard has already been released as of this past Monday. You can get it at AIAG.
