Happy New Year.:)
AIAG has published the gap analysis checklist for IATF16949. We are now using this checklist to embark on the upgrade to IATF journey.

Re: Any Insight to 2016 Version of TS16949 (IATF 16949)?

I was reading through the document on IATF website, and noticed the wording "IATF 16949:2016 is not a stand-alone quality management standard, but is implemented as a supplement to, and in conjunction with, ISO 9001:2015." In other words, to be prepared in timely manner, would it be helpful to get ISO 9001:2015 standard first and start preparing the quality manual, then when IATF 16949 comes out, then edit the manual to satisfy IATF 16949 requirement is a safer option?

Any opinions or advice?
Can I have a drafted copy of Quality manual & procedure?
Please advice

The standard does not need you to have a Quality Manual. But if you have one that meets the requirement of ISO9001:2008 just revise that to the new standard. A manual is used for exploratory questions only.
