The US Z10 standard sucks buttermilk, nobody uses it, but then again the ILO-OSH had UN stamped all over it and that dog don't hunt over here either.

It's nice that the ISO pulled its head out of the sand with OSH

Yep....The International Labor Organization is a United Nations agency dealing with labor issues, particularly international labor standards and decent work for all.

Why would the USA object to it? Just curious....

I'll not elaborate here about the UN...I am though happy to see an ISO OSH standard and I hope it works

Regarding work (including OSH aspects) and relations between employers and employees, a specialized and century old organization member of the UN, bringing together representatives of governments, employers and employees is clearly more legitimate that a very general and not joint organization as ISO.
