PPAP 4th edition changes

I have put together a summary of the PPAP 4th edition changes as well as a correlation matrix of the 3rd versus 4th edition requirements. Here it is if anyone is interested.

The situation with the AIAG is terrible.
It would cost me more to ship the books at AIAQ rates than the cost of the books themselves.
I ship them to a US address and they send them on to me.
It is far cheaper.

Does anyone have a copy of the new PSW for the truck industry? It would be very helpful.

GM recently updated their customer requirements with specific instructions for PPAP 4th. I downloaded a copy from AIAG.

We're interested, but could you please post the changes here to share?

PPAP 4th edition

GM issued their Customer Specifics dated March '06.
I think the signigicant point in the 4th edition is Customer Notification; since that section was removed, it is now up to the individual customer representative to interpret what needs to be approved. Horror stories are already started. So, beware of form THE-1002.

THE 1002 and Questions

Do you mean CF 1002 form? Please share some of the nightmares, I ahven't heard yet but I hope I don't have any nightmares from this 4th edition.

How about master sanmple? Does that mean the piece you measured or in a press does it mean the sample line from the parts submitted for PPAP?

Third and last question- Does Tier 2 have to, I know they should comply with the posted customer specific changes as lsited on AIAG?
