We need to warm up, just as athletes do, for this exercise. We dont want anyone to pull a brain muscle. Well get ready for brainstorming by playing a little game.
How many squares to you see? Dont overlook the obvious. Call it out.
(Repeat the highest number of squares called out, egging them on to find more. The answer is 32 squares with the last 2 being the GM logo square and the word squares.)
(Invite the highest bidder to come forward and share where the squares are with the rest of the group. Hint that they should look out of the box. If they fail to see the last 2 squares after youve prompted and waited, go ahead and point them out.)
We want you to be creative and to think outside of the box. We need to help each other seek solutions just as we did in this exercise.
