Hello,
First time posting here! After reviewing Guidance on requirements for substances in articles, which provided by ECHA, I still feel confused on definition of article, complex object, and substance. I would like to confirm whether my understanding on the following micro switch is correct with photos as examples.
1. Picture1, The piece of micro switch (N272) is defined as ONE “complex object”, right?
The piece of micro switch (N272) is further broken down in Picture 2:
2. Plastic part of micro switch (N133a + N133b + N133c) is defined as ONE “article”, right?
3. Metal part of micro switch (N134a to N13f) is defined as ONE “article”, right?
4. The 10 individual parts separated from micro switch (i.e. N133a, N133b, N133c, N134a, N134b, N134c, N134d, N134e, N134f, N134g) is defined as TEN individual “article”, right?
All parts are labelled a number, the below table is the descriptions for each part.
